The MAUS adapter nozzle provides an ingenious solution to this problem. The nozzle can be attached to the MAUS Xtin "Small" fire extinguisher in one easy step and is immediately ready for use. The narrow tip of the adapter makes it possible to extinguish a fire through the smallest of openings. This is a great advantage, particularly in the case of vehicle engine fires, as engine hoods cannot be opened in the event of a fire due to the high heat. In addition, it is not advisable to open the hood because the oxygen supply accelerates the fire.
Use of a MAUS Klein adapter nozzle:
- Attach the adapter nozzle to the upper part of the MAUS Xtin "Small"
- Detach the locking pin from the lower part of MAUS Xtin "Small"
- Guide the nozzle to the desired opening
- Hold the device firmly and press the yellow start button (PRESS START) once to activate the device
- Empty the entire contents of MAUS Xtin "Small"
- Make sure that the room remains completely closed
