If mosquitoes and other insects are to be kept outside: simply attached to the tailgate frame, the ingenious multifunctional SpaceCamper mosquito net (both privacy and splash protection) protects against insects. The net is quickly attached via magnets and a cable hoist and can remain permanently attached even with the door closed. (Caution not with gullwing doors and VW California)

If you want to take care of your luggage or air it out: No problem! With double YYK zippers, the mosquito net is quick and easy to open within seconds.

Does the mosquito net also fit hinged doors?

Yes, the mosquito net also fits hinged doors. However, it must be removed when closing the doors, otherwise the door latch can damage the net. However, we also have customers who alternatively make use of two small incisions at the top of the ridge net. The two cuts then allow the latches of the doors to snap into place on the small metal frame on the chassis. However, we do not accept any liability for such changes to the fabric.

In the case of gullwing doors, the lower screws cannot be used, which can otherwise be used to fix the lower corners in front of the trunk. However, weighting with lead tape in the mosquito net ensures that the fabric falls well and covers the trunk.
