Protect your cab from light, cold, and heat with SpaceCamper’s blackout shade. Designed for the Ford Custom V710, New Caravelle, and New Transporter, the blackout shade is placed on the windshield. There, the insulating underside of the shade keeps the interior temperature at a comfortable level by blocking sunlight and preventing heat loss to the outside.

Whether the van is parked outside in summer or winter, you’ll feel the temperature changes inside as well. To keep the van comfortable even in freezing temperatures or when exposed to strong sunlight, SpaceCamper has developed a blackout cover for the side window. Available for the Ford Custom V710, New Caravelle, and New Transporter—for either the right or left door of the driver’s cab—it is slipped over the door like a hood. 

Thanks to the double-layer construction, the side door window can still be opened. On the outside, the blackout has a ventilation system that can be fixed with a bar. This allows fresh air to enter the bus. A mosquito net prevents pests from entering.

It wouldn't be a genuine SpaceCamper product if it didn't also have an ingenious detail: There is additional storage space for many a small item in an inner pocket across the full width of the blackout.

The side window tints are designed to fit the doors of the Ford Custom V710, New Caravelle, and New Transporter. They also fit windshield deflectors.

And this is how it's done 

Lay the windshield darkener flat on the windows. Attach them to the Velcro stickers supplied inside the vehicle using the 4 retaining straps. To do this, stick the Velcro stickers to the A-pillar in the door rebate.

To darken the side doors, open the driver or passenger door and put the matching side darkening over it. The SpaceCamper logo must always be on the outside in the top corner. Pull the hood far down and fasten it around the exterior mirror with Velcro.

Now you can open the window, put up the bars on the outside with Velcro and the bus can enjoy a portion of fresh air.
